Somerset County Public Schools has partnered with the Cook Center for Human Connection to bring families access to the Mental Health Resource Center at ParentGuidance.org.

ParentGuidance.org is a free, confidential website designed to support parents, guardians, and caregivers with expert advice from licensed therapists and seasoned educators. The platform offers on-demand, anonymous courses and resources to help families navigate common challenges like anxiety, social media use, school avoidance, bullying, and more.

Whether you're looking to strengthen family relationships or support your child’s emotional well-being, ParentGuidance.org provides practical tools and guidance in both English and Spanish—all at no cost.

On-Demand Courses

In ParentGuidance.org, click on “On-Demand Courses” to view over 50 Free on-demand courses in the privacy of your own home, led by licensed therapists.

Ask a Therapist

In ParentGuidance.org, click on “Ask a Therapist” to review Frequently Asked Questions submitted by parents. A licensed therapist answers parent questions through a short video and written transcription where other parents can benefit from the questions asked. You can even submit a question of your own.
