WESTOVER, MD (April 23, 2024) – The Somerset County Board of Education recently released an update in the search for the next Superintendent of Somerset County Public Schools (SCPS). In the April 2024 Regular Board Meeting, Board Chairperson, William McInturff, shared that the board-selected consultants from School Exec Connect had incorporated the feedback from the recent community survey and several planned focus groups to produce a New Superintendent Profile that will guide the candidate selection process.

Board Chairperson McInturff shared next steps will include an interview workshop in early May and candidate interviews through the end of the month.
