Suicide touches all communities and each person who dies by suicide leaves behind people who knew and cared about them, along with the impact of grief and bereavement that follows the tragic loss resulting from this preventable public health issue. Youth aged 10-24 are at a significant risk for suicide. It is the second leading cause of death for youth aged 10-14, making prevention efforts crucial.
