PRINCESS ANNE, MD (April 25, 2025) - Princess Anne Elementary School (PAES) recently welcomed students and families for a vibrant and educational STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Night in celebration of spring and Earth Day. The evening featured a dynamic program led by the Science Nerds, who guided families through a series of hands-on experiments designed to spark curiosity and inspire learning.
In addition to the live experiments, PAES hosted a schoolwide Science Exhibition, proudly displaying a project from every student. Each grade level explored a different scientific theme, including life cycles, weather, and solar systems, creating an engaging and educational showcase of student learning.
The event featured two concurrent sessions—the Science Nerds presentation and a Science Scavenger Hunt. During the scavenger hunt, families explored all the student exhibits, checking off clues and discoveries along the way. Students who completed the hunt received a special coin for the book vending machine, encouraging literacy alongside scientific exploration.
To round out the evening, every family received a Subway dinner to take home, making it a fun and fulfilling night for all.
PAES is grateful to its students, staff, and families for making this event such a success, and looks forward to continuing to foster a love of learning through creative and engaging school events.
