Water has been restored at WHS today, Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. We apologize for the earlier interruption; the safety of our students and staff was our top priority. Normal operations have resumed, and students will now dismiss at their regular time. Thank you for understanding.


WHS is experiencing a water outage today, Friday, Jan. 17, and cannot operate under current conditions. Buses will return to WHS between 9-9:30 AM to dismiss students for the day. If water is restored, we will keep students and send an update. Thank you for your understanding.

The MSDE is soliciting public comment on the proposed Essential Elements (EEs) for Grade 8 Social Studies and High School American Government for students participating in the Alternate Framework and taking the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) assessment. Please submit comments by close of business on December 22, 2024, via email to deises-psta.msde@maryland.gov. All comments received will be reviewed by MSDE and considered in the standard finalization process.
