Students from the Quill & Scroll Honor Society and Ms. Vickie Nelson's Photography class attended J-Day at the University of Maryland today, Friday, April 4. J-Day is sponsored by the Maryland-DC Scholastic Press Association and featured keynote speakers and multiple sessions geared towards journalism and yearbook students. Media teacher and yearbook advisor, Ms. Phaedra Spencer also attended. The Crisfield High School was the only school attending from the Eastern Shore! Students all agreed it was a great conference that offered opportunities to strengthen their writing and photography skills! Thanks to our van driver, Mr. J.T. Coleman!





Our Softball team worked hard but came up short today against Pocomoke. They will travel to Nandua Thursday for a 4:00 game. This team is competing and working hard. Keep your heads up ladies! 🥎 🦀


Congratulations to our Athletes of the Week. Emily, Rosalia, Jenni and Renee (not pictured) competed in multiple relay events, and being the first group to compete in them this season. They represented our school extremely well, earning points in their meet!


Congratulations to our Scholars of the Week and our Staff of the Week. Lilly and Jayden are being recognized for their hard work in their classes and being positive. Mr. Jackson is being recognized for his patience and commitment to his student. Keep up the great work! 🦀


Update: Today's softball game @ Pocomoke will still be played, starting at 4:00. However, the baseball game scheduled for today will be played tomorrow at 4:00. There is no baseball practice today.

Congratulations to the new members of the CHS National Honor Society who were inducted in a ceremony earlier this evening! Seniors were also awarded their stoles that they will wear at Graduation. The NHS is advised by Mr. Randy Laird.

Softball/Baseball: games at Colonel Richardson today have been postponed until Friday due to the condition of their fields. Baseball/Softball will travel to Snow Hill tomorrow for a game time of 4:00.
