Good afternoon this is Liz Berry with some updates for this very short week.  We would like to share a big congratulations to our staff member of the week, Ms. Mindy Bentley.  Ms. Bentley, is a paraprofessional here at Woodson Elementary.  Her schedule has recently changed and she has jumped in to help the students and staff in first grade.  She is helping out where she is needed.  We appreciate you Ms. Bentley.

Our students of the week are Bentley Cooper in 2nd Grade and Jace Keaser in 3rd Grade.  Bentley has been an amazing helper and always setting a good example.  Jace is always polite in the cafeteria.  He also follows the cafeteria expectations and always cleans his space.  Way to go Bentley and Jace!

Woodson Elementary will be closed from Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th.  The staff and students would like to wish everyone a very Happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

Looking ahead to next week, Thursday, November 30th will be a free casual day for all students and staff as it is the last day of the month.

Friday, December 1st will be a Woodson Spirit Day, where students can wear their Woodson or House Shirt with uniform bottoms.  Also on Friday, our students in Pre-K will have their Winter program in the Woodson Gym at 2:00 pm.  For anyone attending the program, please bring your driver’s license or government ID to run through our Navigate 360 system.  No one will be permitted to enter without their ID.

Also, 5th grade students will be attending the Nutcracker Performance at Wicomico High School, on Friday December 1st

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and have a good evening.
