Good afternoon, Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for the coming week. National Custodian Appreciation Day is October 2nd. Let’s give a “shout out” of appreciation to our amazing custodians for all of their hard work and dedication for keeping our school beautiful. You are appreciated by all.
Congratulations to our Student of the Week: Ashton White in Kindergarten and Hunter Snyder in 2nd Grade. Ashton is a student that his teacher can always count on to try his best. He is a kind friend to all and shows his classmates how to follow the Woodson Way. Hunter does his best while in school. He is also a good friend to is classmates. We are so proud of you boys!

Please join Dr. Tasker-Mitchell, our Superintendent at WES, on November 7th from 6:00-7:30 pm, as she will be here conducting her Listening and Learning to Lead Tour. She is asking for families to attend and engage, so she can hear from the community.
Please make sure that you fill out the student electronic annual forms on the Power School parent portal. These forms need to get updated every year for returning students. Please contact Jen Ward in the front office if you need help with your password.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message and have a great rest of your weekend.
