I want to follow up with more information regarding an incident that took place earlier today. At approximately 11:40 am, our school was briefly placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure due to a nearby situation involving aggressive animals. Local law enforcement discharged weapons in response to ensure community safety.
During this time, our staff and students followed all safety protocols, and everyone remained safe and calm. Once the situation was fully contained, law enforcement confirmed that there was no longer any threat to our school. We then resumed normal operations, and students continued with their day.
The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we will always take immediate action to protect them whenever necessary. We appreciate the prompt response and support of our local law enforcement in keeping our school and community safe.
