Good evening, Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for the coming week.  Congratulations to our Staff Member of the Week, Ms. Hunter Holland in 5th grade.  Ms. Holland works very hard to ensure the needs of all her students are met.  She incorporates fun into each lesson to keep her students engaged.  She is an asset to the Woodson Family!

Congratulations to our Students of the Week, Riley McDaniels in 2nd grade and Caleb Pruitt in 5th grade.  Riley has just joined us a month ago and has adjusted well.  She is a great friend and is very kind.  Caleb works hard in class and always puts forth his best effort.  With his hard work, his consistently positive attitude, and his willingness to help others, Caleb embodies the Woodson Way!  Great job!!!!

We are looking forward to seeing our students and staff. We hope everyone enjoyed a nice Spring Break.

This Wednesday, April 23rd, we celebrate Administrative Professionals Day.  We are so grateful for all of our administrative associate staff at Woodson Elementary.  We celebrate Mrs. Jennifer Ward, Ms. Ashley Hanke, Mrs. Traci Tyler and Mrs. Grace Meyer.  They do an amazing job every day to take care of all things in the office and with our special education department.  Our school runs smoothly because of them.  We are thrilled to have them as Woodson Waves.

On Thursday, April 24th, we will have a paid casual day to benefit our Music Department, put on by Mrs. Korinne Jones.  If children choose to participate, they must pay $1.00 and staff $2.00.

On Friday, April 25th, we celebrate the students who have met the criteria for our Positive Behavior Incentive, which is the Laser Light Show.  Students are sure to enjoy this special incentive.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and have a good evening.
