Did you know that students, staff, and faculty of Somerset County Public Schools can receive medical care right at school? The School Based Health Center at Washington High School is staffed by a licensed provider in partnership with Chesapeake Health Care. Not only can staff diagnose and treat common health conditions, but student-athletes can also get their yearly sports physicals. Call 410-651-4040 for more information, and to schedule an appointment for your student.

What a fun morning at the BOE! SCPS' Special Education Department Family Support Services, in partnership with Somerset County Infants & Toddlers and the Judy Center Early Learning Hub hosted the Sensory Easter Bunny Event. Students enjoyed arts & crafts, sensory friendly activities and games and some treats to sweeten the deal!
Thanks to the Ocean City Bomb Squad's "Rachel Project" beeping Easter egg donation, visually impaired students in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester County Schools will participate in this weekend's Easter egg hunts with more independence! The Rachel Project began after an Alabama bomb technician found a way for his daughter, Rachel, to participate in their church's Easter egg hunts. The project is a partnership between the National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI) and the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (lABTI).
