Dear Crisfield High School students, families & staff,
Plans have been made to replace all major HVAC equipment at Crisfield Academy & High School. Due to equipment supply delays, we were unable to complete this project over the summer. Certain pieces of equipment have now begun to fail as a result of hot weather, and temperature control has become an issue in our classrooms. To combat these issues, we are using portable air conditioning units, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers to help maintain temperatures and air quality and provide for no loss of instructional time. Work will continue this week and over the next several weeks to complete repairs and replacements of our chill water tower and all rooftop air handler units. We thank you for you understanding and assure you we will work diligently to provide a comfortable environment for our students and staff.
